• 3. Strengthening of Central Livestock Farms for development of superior germplasm.
• 4. Preventive measures to restrict entry of infectious and contagious diseases.
• 5. Imparting training and demonstration to the farmers for rearing of livestock for self employment.
• 6. Deputation of progressive farmers for Educational tour to Mainland/Island for better exposure in the field of Livestock/Poultry.
• 7. Providing technical assistant to establish private Livestock/Poultry farms.
• 8. Conducting veterinary health camps throughout the territory.
